Testimonials

Being a member of the SDA is important because I'm not good at speaking up so I need assitance to help negotiate on my behalf.

Great service, great knowledge of workplace policies and procedures, free Legal advice, great value for money. These are just some of the benefits, why wouldn’t you want to join?

I think the question should be this:  Why should somebody not join the SDA? That list would be short.

The SDA is always working at getting the best and safest conditions for you and if something goes wrong they are there for you.

SW Fire Appeal

Go Back
  • 15th January 2016

In response to the devastating effect that recent bush fires have had on communities in the state’s South West, including many AMWU members, their families, and friends, the AMWU WA Branch has moved to establish the “SW Fire Appeal” to provide assistance to those affected communities in their time of need.

The AMWU WA Branch is doing all it can to assist affected AMWU members, and is calling on all AMWU members and the wider community to make a donation to this important appeal.

At this time, financial donations are the most effective way to quickly provide the right kind of assistance directly to those who need it the most.

You can show your support today by making a donation directly to the “SW Fire Appeal” through the following bank account:

National Australia Bank

AMWU Appeal Account

BSB: 082-057

Account Number: 18 898 9948

Deposits should be referenced with “SW Fire Appeal”

If you have any questions about this, please phone the AMWU office on 08 9223 0800.

Yours in unity,

Steve McCartney
